Rebecca Spera Valentino

Rebecca Spera Valentino grew up as a full-fledged Jersey Italian. She spent Sundays enjoying pasta feasts with her family, and while she loved her homemade spaghetti and meatball recipe, she was thrilled to join Houston’s multicultural food scene as quickly as she could.

Rebecca has a passion for bringing out the best in others, and she does that through storytelling. As a TV producer and host for nearly 20 years in Houston, she’s highlighted countless people and businesses in the Houston area. She worked as a producer and reporter on KHOU-TV’s live morning talk show, Great Day Houston, when it was a startup back in 2006. A few years later, she helped launch the nationally aired show Mirror/Mirror at KTRK-TV and produced and hosted specials for the station. Rebecca later moved on to news at KTRK-TV, serving as a reporter and traffic anchor. Then, in 2018, she took on the role of host of Local Spotlight and Live On Location for the station.

Rebecca's expertise extends beyond working behind and in front of the camera. Leveraging her extensive media experience and relationships to assist KPC clients in securing valuable TV appearances,  her commitment to creating compelling content that resonates with viewers is a cornerstone of her storytelling approach. Additionally, her on-camera experience is crucial in coaching and preparing clients for their appearances, ensuring they make the most of their opportunities.

Married to her husband Eric, she is the proud mom to three boys: Gray, Dean and Tate. She spends most of her free time on the basketball court, baseball field, or around the table eating because, with a house full of boys, the kitchen is always open! When she’s not cooking for her family, she loves to venture out for culinary experiences. Italian food feels like home, but she’s always open to new flavors.

What Ignites Me
