Kristina Strommer

Through studying Spanish & Intercultural Rhetoric at Dartmouth College, Kristina Strommer has found that few things are better than communicating with others.

Strommer graduated as valedictorian of Dartmouth College in June of 2022 with a double major in Spanish and Intercultural Rhetoric. While in school, Strommer dipped her toes into law and marketing and always strived to promote clear and passionate communication. She has learned that understanding how to communicate with others using all forms of rhetoric – spoken, written, and visual – connects us, helps us understand the world around us, allows us to form meaningful relationships, and results in incomparable experiences. In her immigration law internship, Strommer developed her passion for understanding others and their worlds, opening her eyes to the value of genuine and clear communication; this internship also helped her develop her writing and organization skills. She has also worked to grow engagement with an organic skincare line and a forestry non-profit, expanding her writing, social media, and communication skills in marketing.

A Portland, Oregon native, Strommer recalls being surrounded by good food at an early age. Some of her first memories are of the dinner club to which her parents belonged long before she was born. Strommer discovered KPC in late 2020 when looking for a supportive working community focused on food, a creative atmosphere, a welcoming personality, and the opportunity to collaborate with others passionate about sharing stories. After graduating from Dartmouth, she spent a year in rural Alaska, immersing herself in the abundance of seafood and exploring nature while continuing to work with KPC. In 2023, Kristina was accepted to Harvard Law School. Currently a student there, KPC is fortunate to have Kristina return to work with us while she pursues her legal career. When she’s not working or studying, she is slowly working her way through a cookbook collection gifted to her by the KPC team.
